Hypermiling Leads To Hydro Assisted Fuel Cell (HAFC) Developments

I was amused to note that only the Americans can be so creative in the face of adversity. Only the American people would create a ‘sport’ like Hypermiling where everyone is trying to extract the maximum miles from their gas while still driving in a safe and courteous manner. As yet Hypermiling is relatively unknown in the UK – possibly because we already have vehicles which will cover long distances with high MPG.

A combination of the credit crunch reducing incomes and the high cost of gas has made people take notice of the amount of gas that they use as they go about on their travels. We in the UK have had this for many years.

Thanks to our governments total belief (well at least they claim this) in Worldwide Global Warming we are constantly harrassed about our ‘carbon footprint’. We have a particularly annoying ad where an adult pretends to be a child and with a suitably annoying voice proceeds to preach to us about reducing our carbon footprint. This also has visuals where people are walking around and leaving black oily footprints.

I, as a trained environmental scientist, have no time whatsoever for the carbon footprint bandwaggon and see it as means to reduce our level of service and increase our costs.

GLOBAL WARMING IS A PROFITABLE BUSINESS TO BE IN.

Now I have said that I will be placed amongst the Flat Earthers and will be considered to be a greater threat than ‘The War on Terror’ – another good earner for the right people!.

I am now 58 years old and would dearly love to live for another 100 or so years in order to be able to say – Global Warming! See – You Got It Wrong. It was all natural and a result of increased sunspot activity.

So what has this to do with Hydro Assisted Fuel Cell(HAFC) technology?

To be honest I am unsure! I intend to use this Hydro Assisted Fuel Cell (HAFC) blog to review literature from the manufacturers and report on experiments currently being undertaken here in the UK.

More to follow.
